Dog Head Fire

The Edgewood Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) would first like to extend our condolences for the losses during the Dog Head Fire.

 

Edgewood SWCD staff has been working closely with the US Forest Service (USFS), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Pueblo of Isleta, and Bernalillo and Torrance Counties to ensure that the fire rehabilitation on both the USFS and private properties is being addressed.

 

During the New Mexico 2017 Wildland Urban Interface Summit on March 30th, the Collaborative Group reported on the Dog Head Fire. (See the full report below)

Sandia Collaborative Meeting

 

The Sandia Collaborative will continue to hold monthly meetings the third Thursday of each month.

 

The next meeting has been changed!  It will be held on June 21st at 9:30 AM at the McGrane Public Safety Complex in Tijeras, NM.
